The Hawai‘i Statewide Transportation Plan (HSTP) is a broad-based policy plan document that will give common direction to planners of Airports, Harbors, and Highways. This includes planners of bicycle, pedestrian, and transit facilities. Come and learn more about transportation and our aging population, global climate change and its effect on our transportation facilities, and fuel and energy for transportation. Learn about the Goals and Objectives for the HSTP, and give your feedback. Meeting being held at Aunty Sally Kaleohano's Luau Hale, 799 Piilani Street, Hilo. Presentation starts at 6:30 PM.

2010 Transportation Conference
The Hawaii Island Workforce and Economic Development Ohana (HIWEDO) and Hawaii County Mass Transit will be co-hosting a Transportation Conference, "Transforming Transportation through Collaboration," on October 22nd at the Hilton Waikoloa. Included in this email is a flyer for the conference containing additional information and a registration form, due Friday, October 15th. Cost to attend is $10. Free transportation to and from the conference will be provided from sites in Hilo and Kona.
