Pahoa Arts & Library Association is a non-profit organization who's mission is to build a not-for-profit library and amphitheater in the center of Pahoa on the 57 acres of acquired park land immediately behind the Pahoa Aquatic Center.

Communication No. 2010-19 from the Pahoa Arts and Library Association (PAALA) proposing a large full service library, sculpture garden and amphitheater in the heart of old Pahoa town on the County land adjacent to the existing Neighborhood Center & swimming pool.
